Marginal Wells Webinar June 6, 2026

Colorado Rising for Communities (CORFC) is shining a light on Colorado's marginal wells problem; this webinar digs into what's really at stake for our communities. 💥 Colorado has over 11,000 marginal wells: aging, low-producing oil and gas wells that should be plugged and abandoned, but aren't. Almost 450 are with a mile of Colorado schools, and a critical number are within 2,000 feet. 📊 What you'll learn at the webinar: What makes a well "marginal" — and why that designation matters for your neighborhood Which neighborhoods and schools are most impacted by these marginal wells What we can do as impacted communities to get the process moving along 🎙️ Meet the Speakers We've assembled a panel of technical experts and community advocates to each give a short presentation, followed by a live question and answer session.
