Gears of War 3 | Horde Insane | Boss Wave Compilation #1

Players: AsthenicFan830, carlosmaate7, foosniper, Luigi Flash, MiSsY sPaRkLeS, technihil This is a compilation of boss waves from failed highscore games that all got a bit intense. Sometimes we made it through nicely and other times a bit less so! I have kept most of the waves intact, although in some cases I have cut some parts when we were taking a break and thus didn't move our characters. 00:00 Boss Wave 20: Lambent Zerker (Clocktower) The Grenadier Elite that sneaked into the back in the beginning was scary and ended up costing us the Silverback, but thankfully we managed to hold it together anyway for the rest of the wave. 11:37 Boss Wave 40: Lambent Zerker (Checkout) Difficult map for Lambent Berserker. We killed a lot without spots, but it's hard to max out the points in waves like this. I made a stupid mistake by moving in line behind foo when he went down, which possibly caused the Lambent Berserker to charge through him towards us. I should have stepped to the left instead, which might have saved him. The Hail Mary shortly afterwards was a bit crazy, but that happens quite a lot in this map. 22:40 Boss Wave 20: Berserkers (Jacinto) We have played these bosses a lot in this map and are quite used to running and gunning like this by now. This was a fun and pretty good wave – although the grenade that downed half of the team in the beginning was weird, since the guy who threw it was dead (which should have cancelled the damage from it). 32:44 Boss Wave 20: Brumak (Dry Dock) First time trying the Brumak on this side. It went well overall, as it sometimes can move really weirdly through a map and you don't want it to get close. 43:46 Boss Wave 30: Brumak (Clocktower) This is a pretty scary map for a Brumak, since there isn't much room for moving around when it comes in. Thankfully, it moved back this time after the initial charge. Still, we did well to make it through without deaths and even got some downs. 51:18 Boss Wave 20: Berserkers (Artillery) We had some bad luck here, although forgetting to set up the shield for the Silverback at the start didn't help. Then we got double Boomers at a bad time and Aesthenic also got glitched in the Silverback, which is why he went down in the beginning. Then we lost the Silverback, so had to improvise for the rest of the wave. You also need to activate three hard mutators (which will make enemies regenerate health over time, only heal you when you are doing damage, as well as forcing every reload to be an active), spot as many enemies as possible and let someone else kill them (usually the Silverback-pilot), as well as down as many regular Locust once and let one of their friends pick them up before killing them (you cannot down Lambent and larger Locust). You should also die as few times as possible, since deaths reduce your score. If all players die in the same wave, it is game over. This is why we play the game as we do, rather than just killing stuff randomly. It may look a bit odd at first, but it is very entertaining and challenging, as it requires a lot of individual skill and collective coordination.
