Folding Ideas - End of Evangelion and the Audience Author Membrane

Earlier drafts of the script leaned much more on performative shock at the weirdness and general inscrutability of the movie, but the more I worked on it, the more times I sat through the movie looking for clips and things to talk about, the more I started to see End of Evangelion not just as an extension of a show that I enjoyed, but as the legitimately brilliant and impacting film that it is.
