DCDR / ITG Diesel Gala - Saturday 23rd August 2025 List of Locos & Units / Railcars in action during the event. 121 Class Loco 124 141 Class Loco 146 181 Class Loco 190 A Class Loco A39R G Class Loco G617 450 Class DEMU 458 Antrim Castle Wickham Railcar / Inspection Trolley 713 First we see 121 Class Loco 124 , 181 Class Loco 190 & 141 Class Loco 146 on display in the station loop while G Class Loco G617 passes through the platform operating cab rides within the station area. A separate video of a cab ride on 617 & 124 , 146 & 190 providing some GM music will be uploaded at a later date. Next we head out to the north line for some run pasts. The first run past sees Wickham Railcar 713 making a appearance. 450 Class DEMU 458 Antrim Castle performs the second run past. The third and final run past sees 121 Class Loco 124 making a surprise appearances hauling the ballast train set which is followed by a light engine run. Next is a short clip taken on board 458 while on the return leg of the first passenger train of the day from Inch Abbey. Then after arriving back from Inch Abbey we see 458 shunting out of the platform she would stable out of the way on the south line. G617 Then pulls in with the heritage set. Next we head off to Inch Abbey on the second train of the day with A39R providing the traction. We then see 146 departing Downpatrick for Inch Abbey with the third train of the day. Next we see A39R shunting back to the yard to stable. We then see 146 arriving back from Inch Abbey. And finally a moment of railway history takes place as 124 works the first 121 Class passenger train in preservation on the last train of the day. We then see a selection of photos taken during the day. In recent weeks ITG owned locos 124 , 152 , 190 & A3R arrived at the railway from The West Clare Railway at Moyasta after being in storage there since 2009 & 2010. 124 , 190 & A3R Will be operational locos while 152 is planned to be a parts donor.
