Some stories are too wonderful to disappear. Meet Betty, a little survivor from the 1950s. She began life as the movable figure inside a rare Bonnie Jack-in-the-Book titled Betty Plays Lady. After more than seventy years, her story was still complete, her illustrations were still intact, and somehow... Betty herself had survived. Rather than covering her history with heavy embellishment, I chose to save the embellishment materials for the new owner and preserve what made this book so special while transforming it into a one-of-a-kind handmade journal.
