6 yr old mare-learning to be framed, and gaining confidence for the right lead departure

6 yr old "Tonka" struggling with holes in her foundation. Exercises to gain the ability to be soft and frame up, to access hip control for consistency in the right lead departure. Walking exercises starts with inside leg/inside rein to move the ribcage, followed by outside leg/outside rein to step across for direction change. This exercise creates relaxation in direction changes, and more consistent frame in the faster gaits. Then at a trot, we add similar cues-inside leg/inside rein, followed by outside leg outside rein to drive her hip under her and send her into the right lead.
