37 department stores across Taiwan have announced temporary closures today. Shin Kong Mitsukoshi's nine branches in Taipei and Taoyuan are closed. Far Eastern SOGO's six stores in northern Taiwan and Hsinchu are also closed. Taipei 101, Breeze Group stores, Q Square Fashion Plaza, and Hong Hui Plaza have also announced temporary closures. Vieshow Cinemas has also announced that its locations in Taipei, New Taipei, Keelung, Taoyuan, and Hualien will be closed for the entire day, and screenings after 6:00 PM at its Hsinchu City, Miaoli County, and Taichung City locations have been cancelled. Supermarkets and hypermarkets such as PX Mart, Da PX Mart, Wan Jia Fu, and Le Jia Kang will adjust their operations and delivery services flexibly according to local weather conditions.
