The "From the Black World" album set the tone for Japanese metal early on, before the likes of Loudness, 44 Magnum, Bow Wow or Earthshaker had truly taken off as full-fledged heavy metal bands. Nokemono had the luxury of opening for Judas Priest on their Stained Class tour across Japan in the late 70s.
