Boteti Khumaga|Camelthorn Farmstead|Botswana

Khumaga is one of our favourite places to visit on our way up north. We camped at Camelthorn Farmstead for the first time and will definitely camp there in the future. Camelthorn Farmstead is outside the National Park on the oposite side of the riverbank. They have well maintained campsites with private ablutions. There is also tent options if you want to "glamp" instead of camping. We stayed there for only 1 night on our way to Nxai Pan - South Camp. We had a lovely and relaxing afternoon at the view deck, overlooking the waterhole. At this time, it was extremely dry, and the owners try their best to help, by pumping water to the waterhole and feeding the Hippo's in the afternoon. They really have a passion for nature and give other people an experience of a lifetime. Although we only camped there for 1 night, we had a great animal sighting seeing Elephants, Wildebeest, Hippo's, Zebra and Crocodiles. Come and join us on our lovely adventure.
