If you don't know, I've had rosacea for over 10 years. It started when I was 22, and I'm about to turn 33. And for those of you who just arrived here, I'll show you a photo of a flare-up and my skin now, when I'm fine. But sometimes I still have more difficult moments because I'm not cured, since rosacea has no cure. Whoever sells you this promise is lying. They're a crook who wants to profit from other people's pain. However, rosacea can be controlled, and some actions can help a lot, and I'm here to share this with you. That said, let's get to the action: 1- Stop limiting yourself. Rosacea already comes with a set of "can'ts" and "can'ts." But we don't need to think we'll fit into all of them. Remember: individuality matters. 2- Stop being short-sighted: spending like crazy on cosmetics without having rosacea under control, and not wanting to invest in expensive medications and dermatologists. In our eagerness to solve the problem, we fall into the trap of buying everything we hear is good. Be patient and wait for the treatment to work. 3- Jumping from one treatment to another. If a treatment doesn't work, we already think it's the doctor's fault, right? We need to be patient so the doctor can make the correct diagnosis or even, if the diagnosis is correct, find the ideal treatment for our case. 4- Talk openly about your discomfort. People don't always comment on our appearance out of spite. Let them know it's a skin condition and that you don't want to talk about it anymore. 5- Know when to ask for help – multidisciplinary treatment may be necessary for chronic conditions that affect our emotions. Just because others haven't needed help doesn't mean you have to face it alone. 6- Change Your Diet - It's not just about eliminating food triggers, but adopting a healthy diet and lifestyle as a whole. 7- Accept - When we don't accept, we become fertile ground for bitterness, and also a prime target for internet scams and scammers. It's chronic, period. It can go into remission, and it can come back. This is our challenge, and let's accept it. We are much more than that. We are alive! Joy, my people!
