Come with us to discover another park in São Paulo. The Praia do Sol Park is located on the banks of the Guarapiranga reservoir in the southern zone of São Paulo. It has three sand courts for soccer and volleyball, one of which is an official competition court (arena), and an outdoor gym. Praia do Sol Park is part of the "Guarapiranga Waterfront Project," which includes 7 public parks along the reservoir interconnected by a 10-kilometer bike path. The area closest to the reservoir preserves aquatic vegetation and has a very beautiful landscape with small boats and water sports enthusiasts, extending to the other side of the Guarapiranga. The Praia do Sol Summer Festival takes place on the park's deck, with various free activities for all ages: banana boat, kayak, pedal boat, stand-up paddleboard, raft, Hawaiian canoe, and inflatable toys (for children). It was inaugurated on July 26, 2009.
