The EarthCampus 4K Construction Time-Lapse

EarthCam officially opened the doors to its new 10-acre headquarters in Northern New Jersey and celebrated the milestone with its 4K time-lapse movie showcasing the nearly 3-year construction process. Watch as the architectural team of Davis Brody Bond and Spacesmith transform the old factory site into a vibrant new campus with interior, exterior, and drone perspectives. “We wanted a space that would reflect our company’s energetic culture, where art and technology combine to inspire both our customers and growing team,” said Brian Cury, CEO and Founder of EarthCam. “I’m most proud of the campus’s outdoor experiences that support a healthy lifestyle and fun collaborative spaces that will continue to fuel our innovative spirit. Elvis Costello, one of the most influential artists known for his four-decade-long record of innovation, rocked the house and was a natural choice for the headlining performance at our grand opening party.” Step inside the dynamically designed interior, where visitors are greeted by an enormous, sloping 25-foot tall video portal encased in an almost 3-story glass curtain wall atrium. The video portal presents a unique medium for transforming EarthCam’s live video content into a digital representation of art imitating life, elegantly displaying the essence of the EarthCam brand. With EarthCam’s new time-lapse movie, watch the development of several key spaces, including the Star Café with its reclaimed namesake roadside diner sign and custom graffiti murals by artist Anthony “Mast” Arias, and unique finish and design elements, selected by Interior Designer, Vanessa DeLeon. The entire construction process was documented by over 40 different time-lapse cameras from the groundbreaking ceremony on September 29, 2015 to the grand opening party. EarthCam relied on a combination of its professional construction camera technology, 360° photography and drone video.
