Shomen'uchi sankyo omote waza - 正面打ち三教表技 - Aikido Virtual Dojo

In this video we present the technique shomen'uchi sankyo omote waza. We explain the principal movements and show potential mistakes in a funny way at the end. Sankyo means the third movement, it refers to the third way of controlling and immobilizing the attacker through a specific pin on the ground. Sankyo offers a very important advantage: you can take the attacker for a walk, fully controlling his movements, before you immobilize him on the ground. Also when you lock uke's arm with your knee and elbow, you can stay in this position for some time while keeping full control of uke.
