J. Haydn - Hob VII:deest - Concerto for 2 clarinets in B flat major

Set in 3 movements: 1. Larghetto - Tempo giusto (0:00) 2. Adagio (10:02) 3. Rondeau: Allegretto (15:07) According to the liner notes, the manuscript of that concerto is kept in the Thurn und Taxis collection in Regensburg. Haydn's name is noted in pencil on the 2nd clarinet solo part. On account of the its location, Klöcker infers that the concerto might date back to the period when Haydn was kappelmeister of Count Morzin around 1759. The 2nd movement is missing in the manuscript and Klöcker borrowed a slow movement from one of Haydn's divertimentos. Performers: Dieter Klöcker & Waldemar Wandel, clarinets; Prague Chamber Orchestra.
