Medicine is a long and lengthy career path. It's filled with ups and downs and doors being slammed in your face. For Alia, her intended career path is one where she has to experience double the struggle. Starting off with dentistry before moving onto medical school was not an easy route. But Alia will be telling the audience all about how she got to where she is, a student in one of the best medical schools in the middle east, 9 years above the maximum age limit for applying. Alia's story is inspiring and touching, one that will for sure change your views on what you can and cannot do. Raised in the UK, Syeda Alia Haider is a dentist currently studying medicine in Riyadh. She enjoys spreading optimism in her community and encourages people to pursue their dreams and reach their targeted goals. When she isn’t trapped in her hectic schedule, Alia enjoys reading, writing and traveling to new destinations!
