The Tyumen Region Government has signed agreements with two satellite television operators - NTV-Plus and Telekarta. They will provide services to residents of the region at a discounted price. In villages where there is no digital signal, Telekarta subscribers will be able to watch up to 50 channels for free, and NTV-Plus - 20. It is enough to purchase a set of equipment, the cost of which will be compensated for beneficiaries from the budget. Similar conditions are currently being worked out by satellite television operators MTS and Tricolor. Meanwhile, in the Tyumen Region, they are preparing to switch off analog broadcasting. From April 15, instead of the usual programs, TVs without digital set-top boxes will broadcast an information screen about the transition to "digital". And in a week, the transmitter will be turned off. Experts explain to residents what options they have so that the picture is, as they say, up to par.
