This time we wanted the quieter side of Sächsische Schweiz: a calm hiking route near Schmilka, close to the Czech border, with forest paths, sandstone cliffs, peaceful viewpoints, and almost no tourists around. In this long calm hiking vlog, we start in Schmilka, see the ferry between Germany and Czechia, find a small food vending machine before the trail, look at a huge long-distance hiking route, and then begin our own “short hike” through the Elbe Sandstone Mountains.
