Alexandria Yard Action
Alexandria Yard in Alexandria, Virginia was once the northern terminus for the Southern (SR) and later Norfolk Southern (NS) Railways. This video adds to the historical record of railroad activity at and near Alexandria Yard along the SR/NS and Richmond Fredericksburg and Potomac (RF&P) railroads in 1985 and 1988. Other scenes of the Alexandria yard in operation and being dismantled may be found in my video "Explore SR-NS Alexandria Yard" at URL • Explore SR/NS Alexandria Yard .
