Madonna - Frozen - strings transcription

Here is my attempt at transcribing the amazing strings from Madonna's "Frozen", arranged by Craig Armstrong. ALL glissando lines are quick portamento. Also, please note: I found the string stems (uploaded by @Mr.BeckyWithTheGoodVisuals, thanks!) BUT they have the synthetic strings on top of the real ones (I think they were used as a demo and got replaced by the real strings in the final mix) so that made my work a little complicated. I tried to be the closest I could to the album version. A lot of my transcribing is hearing stuff, some of it is guessing (especially in terms of who plays what between violins I, II and violas). I get the feeling that there are several takes with different voicings mixed on top of each other. In the album mix, the string section, or parts of it, are sometimes very quiet or completed muted. I have indicated when that is the case. During the outro, you can hear some distant strings on top of the held notes by the "regular" strings. I wrote it as an ossia. If you are more than 4, you could have have a solo violin or viola and cello play the part. I left the MIDI playback to avoid copyright problems (it didn't work).
