Notte dei Serpenti, le prove invadono Teramo

The atmosphere of the Notte dei Serpenti (Night of the Serpents) pervaded the historic center of Teramo. Largo San Matteo, at the foot of the monument dedicated to Ivan Graziani, transformed into an open-air stage for an evocative musical press conference, giving attendees a taste of the spectacle that will culminate on July 25th at the Stadio del Mare in Pescara. The star of the show was Enrico Melozzi, the event's creator and artistic director, who, together with his fellow participants, created a moment rich in music, emotion, and Abruzzo's identity. Singers and musicians performed pieces from the Notte dei Serpenti repertoire, drawing dozens of onlookers along Corso San Giorgio and transforming the heart of the city into a festive space. Alongside Melozzi were Mayor Gianguido D'Alberto, Councilor for Culture Stefania Di Padova, Elso Serpentini, and the other project leaders, all united in emphasizing the cultural value of an event that continues to grow and which this year brought evidence of its great musical production back to Teramo. The city, in fact, will host musicians and choir members working on the show until July 19th, with rehearsals taking place in various locations and, from July 17th to 19th, three evenings open to the public in Piazza Martiri.
