Epic 7-Hour PNW Drive in 45 Minutes | VIOFO 4K Front/Rear DashCam Buckle up for an incredible 7-hour road trip condensed into a fast-paced, 45-minute 8x timelapse! Captured on my VIOFO DashCam (Front in stunning 4K, Rear in crisp 2K), this video documents the entire drive from Curlew Lake Campground all the way back home to North Seattle. A huge shoutout to our camp neighbor, Scott, for recommending this incredible route. Instead of taking the standard highway straight back, Maria and I took the scenic detour through the North Cascades, and it did not disappoint. The GMC Sierra handled the mountain passes beautifully! We made a highly recommended pit stop in the Wild West town of Winthrop, WA, where we did a little shopping; I even picked up an authentic, handmade USA cowboy hat and grabbed hot coffee! After stretching our legs, we hit the road again to take in some of the most breathtaking views Washington has to offer. ⛰️ Scenic Highlights & Route Breakdown: Curlew Lake to Tonasket: Leaving the quiet campground and heading west through the rugged, rolling hills of the Okanogan Highlands via WA-20. Methow Valley & Winthrop: Cruising into the sun-drenched Methow Valley and walking the wooden boardwalks of Winthrop. North Cascades Highway (WA-20 W): The crown jewel of the trip. Watch for the dramatic elevation climbs up to Washington Pass and Rainy Pass, surrounded by jagged, snow-capped peaks and towering evergreens. Diablo Lake & Skagit River: Catch glimpses of the stunning, bright turquoise waters of Diablo Lake and Ross Lake before winding down alongside the Skagit River through dense old-growth forests.
