GLADIATOR 4K UHD REVIEW + 35MM & SUPER 8

Spoolbox channel mentioned in this video can be accessed and subscribed to here:    / @fp30e   This is a review of the 4K UHD Blu-ray of Gladiator and also features the original 35mm trailer which is open matte and additionally the first Super 8 extract. 4K comes with DTS X sound, has an aspect ratio of approximately 2.40:1 and has a running time of 2 hours 29 minutes. It looks and sounds great even though it was a Super 35 and not a full frame anamorphic 35mm. I attempt to explain a little of the reasons for this within this video including the various aperture plates used in 35mm film projectors to mask the imagery off to match the film maker's intentions.
