29/6 Birds Visiting A UK Garden : Jays, Starlings, Tits, Finches, Woodpeckers, Robins, Doves & More
Episode 297: 29th June 2026 In today’s video, you will generally see a range of birds visiting the feeders in the tree all day, particularly blue tits, great tits, coal tits, woodpeckers, robins, goldfinches, greenfinches and starlings, as well as Jays. There will also be a range of birds that visit and forage for food on the floor, this includes collared doves, wood pigeons, crows, jackdaws and the jays. I will try to add timestamps to times of interest, as life and my other commitments permit. ______________________________________________________________ If you like watching blue tits, coal tits, long tailed tits, willow tits, great tits, greenfinches, goldfinches, robins, warblers, sparrows, greater spotted woodpeckers, collared doves and starlings, amongst other birds, then this is the channel for you. I livestream the 100’s of birds that visit my garden each day, from around 7.30am to 5pm, times vary depending on the activity of the birds. The birds have a lovely harmony amongst themselves, with a variety of birds feeding together calmly (although the starlings get a bit squabbly between themselves, they usually resolve this by stretching to look the tallest or opening their beaks the widest). We even have more than one robin living in peace, you can usually see them for their longest feeds at the start and end of each day but they visit throughout the day. The blue tits, coal tits, long tailed tits, willow tits and great tits are plentiful and totally delightful. I love watching how gracefully and socially they feed. They seem very friendly and playful and don’t fly away when I go into the garden. They are all lovely and you never know what you will see. I hope you enjoy watching them as much as I do. Happy Birdwatching All! I hope that everyone gets to enjoy nature everyday, as it's good for health and wellbeing, even if you can't get out into it, watching it can still help, as research suggests that viewing nature scenes (or being out in nature) can have up to 13 beneficial effects on our health and wellbeing, such as helping us to relax, reducing depression, quicker healing, bolstering the immune system, lowering stress levels and increasing lifespan (https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles... https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases...) So I hope this livestream helps to bring a sense of peace and wellbeing to you and all that watch it. Please like and subscribe if you would like me to keep streaming and thank you for watching! If you enjoy the channel and would like to contribute towards feeding the birds, you can do so via "Buy me a Coffee" here: https://buymeacoffee.com/growingisgreat. Any amount will be gratefully received and donations can be as small as you like, unlike some sites which have £5 as the minimum amount. Please don't worry if you can't contribute, I hope you all enjoy the channel, regardless. Thank you.
