Cartoon Network UK - Continuity and Adverts - 2003 - Fool About Laughing (1)

The second DVD is called “Toon Foolery: Fool About Laughing!”, and it features yet another barrage of classic cartoons mixed in with a few promos and idents. Once again, we start off with the Cartoon Network movie ident. (Pause it, name all the toons and I’ll give you a submarine for your birthday.) Johnny Bravo is on after that, and once it finishes, Dexter turns the tables and starts throwing his sister up and down like a ragdoll. The Powerpuff Girls ident then leads us into their show, and after that, Double D has his head bashed repeatedly into a log. (I do enjoy these idents and their obsession with pain and suffering.) Next, there’s a promo for The Cramp Twins, a show that no one really brings up any more, even though I thought it was pretty good. This promo does, however, make it look like the equivalent of Satan gathering his army to storm the gates of Heaven, which doesn’t really do much to help. Billy and Mandy continue their torment of the Grim Reaper in another ident, because Grim & Evil is on.
