Crash Bandicoot 3 - Yellow Gem Early (New method/glitch)

I love it when game developers taunt us with something that's just beyond reach... oh wait... Now, with this little discovery by me, there are two methods of getting the yellow gem early! This one is arguably more reliable, but you have no choice but to die upon getting it, the area where it rests is not solid. This rendition of the glitch is hugely reliant on the position of the camera. Thanks to doing some modding of Crash 2, I know for a fact that the game is designed so that only what needs rendering at any given point is rendered; Crash 3 is no different. And if the object isn't rendered, it doesn't exist, and Crash can't touch it. Bear this in mind while attempting it :P Instructions: You must have at least the double jump and superspin powerups. Go to the place shown in the video. Use the trampoline to bounce up and on top of the box that's floating in midair, hold up + left, and do a superspin. With any luck, you'll land around where I do in the video. From there, try to get into a position where you can freely do a slide jump without getting your head trapped on something invisible. Then pan the camera to the left so the yellow gem is very visible on-screen. Next, do a double jump and then superspin straight towards the platform where the yellow gem is sitting; but do not push right until the very last second. Spin once when you approach where the gem should be and hold up-left to increase your chance of picking it up (re-renders the gem because camera moves back left too). With any luck, the gem will neatly award itself to you and then you'll promptly die. There doesn't appear to be any way to avoid the death, unfortunately. Also, a note. Do not try to use the building directly to the right of the one I used to get to the yellow gem; I guarantee you'll get stuck and be forced to warp out via the pause menu. I'm not entirely sure of the usefulness of this version of the glitch, since it entails a death, unlike the other one. Not only that, but much like the other one, you need superspin, which means that by that point you could have the ten relics required to get it the normal way anyways. If it could be made to work without requirement of either double jump or superspin, then it'd become a lot more useful, but I doubt that'll be possible. Nevertheless, there's a lot of glitchy terrain in that area, so there might be somewhere useful that could make a makeshift platform for a powerupless version of the glitch. This video is a recording of a genuine Crash Bandicoot Warped disc, played on a real PAL PlayStation console. Enjoy the video, everyone!
