Launching a new collection for my handmade brand! | small business diaries (end of April~June 2025)

Hi lovely people! 🌼 Welcome to my studio🥰 Here's part 3 of my recent collection launch! I started working on this collection in February, from idea to launch in about 2~3 months! ✨ Pre-loved Kimono Meets Deadstock Fabric collection - focuses on comfort and size inclusivity. My signature summer shirts made from silk kimonos are usually one-offs, so I introduced these vest tops ( shown in this video) to create more sizes. For this collection, I also brought in deadstock fabrics that are very soft and comfortable, to focus more on comfort by lining the textured silk kimono fabrics. (*Deadstock fabrics are leftovers from manufacturers and big brands, often sitting in warehouses waiting to go to waste. It's a more sustainable option than brand new fabrics!) There was a little hiccup after the launch, but I can still call it a success ❤️ It was so lovely to see the positive reactions from the customers online and at the pop up!
