Stop felting your wool! Learn a new method for washing raw Icelandic Sheep fleece at home. 🧶 March is here, which means shearing season is right around the corner! Today I’m sharing a new method for washing raw Icelandic Sheep fleece to avoid the dreaded felting. After some viewer comments and my own research, I’m experimenting with a "hot wash, hot rinse" technique. We’re processing about 3 lbs of raw lamb fleece from Tony and Spanish, using just boiling water and Dawn dish soap.
