Meanwhile, Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) struggles with his friends' shifting priorities, and Nancy Wheeler (Natalia Dyer) and Jonathan Byers (Charlie Heaton) dive into a mysterious local story that may be more dangerous than it seems. Behind the scenes, Jim Hopper (David Harbour) and Joyce Byers (Winona Ryder) are trying to figure out what’s behind some unsettling new phenomena — while Steve Harrington (Joe Keery) finds unexpected friendship and a new dynamic duo with newcomer Robin Buckley (Maya Hawke) at the Scoops Ahoy ice cream counter. But as strange power surges and odd behavior begin surfacing across Hawkins, the gang realizes something far more sinister is brewing — and this summer might be their biggest fight yet.
