Only 2 Winners in 7 Years?? Scotch & Rye's Quadruple Cheeseburger Challenge in Inverness, Scotland!!

A&Z #1102 - Professional eater Randy Santel versus Scotch & Rye's Scottish Quadruple Bacon Cheeseburger Challenge hosted by Scotch & Rye in Inverness, Scotland (Scottish Highlands) of the United Kingdom!! After finishing up our 2-week Northern Ireland Tour, ‪@KatinaEatsKilos‬ and I spent 3 weeks exploring most of the major cities and areas around Scotland. During our travels, I attempted 12 Scottish man vs food restaurant challenges. For eating challenge event #5, we headed north up to Inverness, Scotland which is part of the famous and beautiful Scottish Highlands. In addition to 2 full-day sightseeing bus tours, while there we visited Scotch & Rye so we could each attempt their "Challenge 35" Scottish Quadruple Bacon Cheeseburger Challenge which had only been beaten once is the past 7 years since Scotch & Rye opened back in 2015. I had just 35 minutes to finish a quadruple bacon cheeseburger on a pretzel bun served with loaded fries topped with juicy pulled pork, chilli con carne, and melted cheese. There was a bowl of kale slaw and 4 whole chicken wings, plus 2 long ears of corn-on-the-cob soaking in melted butter. For dessert, I had to enjoy a large 30oz deluxe milkshake (my choice of flavor). Katina went first and finished in the new time record 24 minutes & 27 seconds. I had 35 minutes, but my goal was to beat Katina's time and become the 3rd champion to win my £35 cheeseburger meal free plus a spot on Scotch & Rye's Wall of Fame. Including Katina's victory before my attempt, this Scottish quadruple bacon cheeseburger challenge had only been beaten 2 times in the past 7 years!! This challenge is called "Challenge 35" because the number 35 is used a few different times. The main entrée is a quadruple bacon cheeseburger with four 6oz Scottish beef burger patties (24oz total) layered with cheese and rashers of Scottish bacon on a pretzel bun. The challenge includes 2 ears of corn on the cob soaking in melted butter, a bowl of Scottish kale slaw, 4 whole BBQ chicken wings, a huge order of loaded fries/chips topped with chilli con carne, melted cheese, and juicy pulled pork, and for dessert - a 30oz deluxe milkshake. The beer I enjoyed during this meal was optional: Juicy Belter Tropical IPA by Brew Toon. There is a 35 minute time limit to finish everything.
