Armjive. Beginners Modern Jive Dance Move.

Learn how to dance the Armjive! One of the 21 beginner Modern Jive moves we teach at Dance Yourself Dizzy. Relax your shoulders & arms before starting. Always try to avoid being too tense (wooden), or floppy like spaghetti! Don’t be rough, or yank & don’t grip your partner’s hand with a thumb. Never force a movement if something doesn’t feel right, or you can feel a lot of resistance from your partner. Please ensure you are fit & healthy before starting any dancing. Please consult your doctor if you are unsure of your ability to participate. Also please make sure you have enough space to dance in - nothing you could bump in to, or any trip hazards, or anything hanging low above your heads. Other than that, we hope you have fun!
