OFFROAD through FINLAND: Lapland, animal spotting and fishing (EP 13 - World Tour Expedition)

This week we enter Finland. In a matter of minutes the sinuous roads of Norway were replaced by long straight stretches of Finnish roads going straight in the Finnish Lapland. We knew then, that exploration in Finland/Suomi, would be a very different experience than what we had seen before. In Finland you cannot arrive and just list series of landmarks and must-see places. Even as we asked our Finnish friends, it was hard for them to point out a list of defined things to do. But all agree on one thing: nature is wild, raw and endless in Finland, take the time to experience and enjoy it. This trip would be less about was there is to see than what we make of it. Finland is a feeling to be felt. In this episode we figure out what is our experience of Finland. Through off-road, and long hours trying to spot animals (big five in Finland are the reindeer, the moose, the bear, the wolf and the lynx), but also hiking and fishing.
