На выходные из Жуковского в Ульяновск через Самару и ночную Сызрань. Два поезда и два самолета.
A weekend trip to Ulyanovsk, where the Civil Aviation Museum is located, began at Zhukovsky Airport. On board a RedWings Superjet, and also on two trains of Russian Railways and Federal Passenger Company, I took a flight to Moscow to Sheremetyevo Airport with a ticket from Aeroflot. At night, adventures awaited me in Syzran, since I arrived at one station, and the next train departed from another. In the museum, I managed to see a Tu-144, a Tu-114 and many other planes. The idea of going to Ulyanovsk for a weekend had been in the air for a long time; you can get there from Moscow on Aeroflot and S7 Airlines, and it seems that even Pobeda Airlines operates flights from St. Petersburg. The video begins at the Komsomolskaya metro station, from where I took the REKS express to Otdykh station. It was also possible to get there on the MCD, but the ticket office said that the express was faster. I could have gotten to Zhukovsky Airport by bus from the Kotelniki metro station, but I chose to take the train and bus. In Zhukovsky, I quickly found a minibus for 100 rubles, which took me to the airport past the Tu-144 monument. The airport turned out to be small and cozy. I took a look at the terminal and the Zhukovsky business lounge, which I got to with my bank card. Then, the flight to Samara was on a Superjet from RedWings, I met a plane with an inverted livery, all red. During takeoff, I admired the Gromov Flight Research Institute aircraft parking lot and noticed several interesting aircraft, such as the IL-96-400T and IL-76 of the Russian Emergencies Ministry. The flight to Samara took about an hour and twenty minutes, we flew over Tolyatti and the AvtoVAZ plant, where Lada cars are produced. Landing took place at Kurumoch Airport in Samara. I got to the railway station by minibus and walked around the center, visited Leningradskaya street, a pedestrian street in Samara. I took the FPC Samara - St. Petersburg train in a reserved seat carriage on the lower side berth. At two o'clock in the morning I arrived in Syzran, where I had a transfer. I did not take into account that there are two stations in Syzran: the first train arrived at Syzran-1, and the second left from another. When I bought a ticket on the Russian Railways website, there was no clear information about the transfer to different stations, so this came as a surprise to me. At night, I could not call a taxi, since there was no one, and walked through the night city of Syzran to the Syzran City station. I took a passing Russian Railways train to Ulyanovsk, also in a reserved seat carriage. The train arrived 50 minutes late, but we arrived in Ulyanovsk on schedule. I had a lot of time before the museum opened, so I walked around the city, had breakfast at Volsov's cafe, walked along Lenin Street and took a taxi to the museum. The Ulyanovsk Aviation Museum is a real masterpiece with many excellent exhibits, especially the Tu-144. Unfortunately, most of the exhibits are not accessible, as the museum director explained, due to security issues and the lack of ramps. After the museum, I walked to the airport, which is literally around the corner, and boarded a Rossiya Superjet, the ticket was purchased through the Aeroflot website. I got an upgrade to business class and flew to Moscow, to Sheremetyevo. After landing, I saw an interestingly painted pale white Aeroflot A321. Thank you very much for watching my videos, which are filmed and edited by me personally. Equipment used: iPhone, editing: FinalCut.
