The rivers burn, all the Aesir have vanished without a trace, and the Valkyries no longer take the fallen to Valhalla. The culprit is Hel, the goddess of the dead, who has set her sights on power over all creation. Death is no longer an obstacle You are an Immortal, a valiant jarl of northern warriors, unafraid of death itself. Dying in battle, you continue to rise again and again. Healers and shamans shrug, unable to understand why. But with the path to Valhalla closed, there's only one thing left to do: arm yourself and send the undead back to Helheim! One man is no match for the other. One head is good, but four are better! Team up with other Vikings to quickly build a strong base and stand shoulder to shoulder against the undead ravaging the expanses of Midgard and the sanctuaries of the Aesir. There's something for everyone. Choose one of the fifteen classes that best suits your playstyle: crush your opponents in close combat, don strong armor and protect your friends, attack from behind with the weapons of bandits and assassins, keep enemies at bay with ranged combat, or harness the magic of the gods! And if you want to try yourself in a new role, all it takes is a few seconds to prepare and a new set of equipment! All means are fair. Trade with other families and clans to build mutually beneficial long-term relationships, or set ambushes in forests, mountains, and tombs and plunder the camps of other Jarls—the choice is yours. In the harsh lands of Midgard, only the strongest survive. Forge Your Own Fortune A multitude of crafting stations and dozens of blueprints will allow you to craft everything you need for glorious victories—from shelter and bandages to powerful potions and formidable weapons. And if that's not enough, remember who you are, a Viking, and build your own longship to test your mettle at sea! Forge Your Legacy Build your city—erect strong walls, don't forget to provide space for artisans and merchants, and provide places for rest and entertainment. Become the most powerful Viking ruler in the vastness of Midgard, a force to be reckoned with!
