Update: My husband's mom DESTROYED our honeymoon - here's what he did

And you guys, her update, telling us where they are right now… is pretty crazy. She also has two extra details she feels are telling about her in-laws: ➡️ one regarding how her FIL sees her husband ➡️ and two her husband’s ex-wife. Well how the MIL views her… Kelly, Ryan and I wish you the very best with your fresh start AND I highly recommend couples therapy with a licensed therapist who specializes in complex family dynamics. If I were you based on everything you’ve gone through as a couple, the lack of support, the habits your husband recently quit, plus his struggle to fully partner up with you and prioritize you over his family, the road ahead for him with grief work etc. There’s so much external and internal pressure on you as a couple and a licensed therapist will be able to help you navigate, learn tools, gain bettering coping mechanisms, help teach what healthy boundaries look like etc. Just my two cents. 💛 Also I know you know this, but I’d never ever be alone in a room again with my father-in-law no matter what. He did it once, I don’t care of the reason or if my husband thought it was okay. It wasn’t okay and if it were me he’d NEVER ever have that kind of opportunity again.
