Allahabad High Court Orders Centre & ASI to Respond was Taj Mahal Originally a Shiva Temple?

Hello and Welcome to Deaf Talks News! We all know about the Taj Mahal in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. It is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. It was built by Mughal Emperor Shahjehan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal who died in 1631. The Archaeological Survey of India - ASI has always maintained that the Taj Mahal is a purely Islamic mausoleum. Now the Allahabad court has asked questions to the Archaeological Survey of India. The question is, was the Taj Mahal originally a Shiva Temple? Why did the court ask them ? In 2015 a lawyer named Hari Shankar Jain filed a case in the Agra District Civil Court. He claimed that the Taj Mahal was originally a Hindu Shiva temple. He said because of this Hindus have the right to worship inside the Taj Mahal. But the Agra court rejected this petition. The land documents they submitted did not match the official Taj Mahal documents. So the application was dismissed. What happened now? The petitioners then filed a Petition again in the Allahabad High Court. After listening to him, the court asked the ASI to photograph and video record the Taj Mahal both inside and outside. If they submit those photographs to the court, then the court will decide. The Allahabad High Court has now issued notices to both the union government and the ASI asking them to respond to these claims. The Central Government and ASI must now respond to the Allahabad High Court's notice. Depending on the response, the court will decide.
