35028 Clan Line climbs a wet Hildenborough bank with 13 on | Belmond British Pullman - 20.02.25

Kicking off her 2025 season with the Belmond British Pullman, Merchant Navy Class No. 35028 Clan Line would take charge of the first steam hauled 'Golden Age of Travel' excursion of the year round the usual Kent circuit, travelling from London Victoria to Dover and back. The first shot comes from Ravensbourne, where Clan Line is seen heading up the grade, firstly coasting having been signal checked, before opening up upon sighting of the green signal with some traditional bullied wheel slip in the rather wet conditions as she climbs towards Bromley. Secondly, the train is captured on its return journey to the capital at Hildenborough.
