Letting Go and Painting Freely - The Joy of Watercolour Painting Without Expectations | Loose Style

The painting process for this relatively simple landscape is one of the most fun ways to create in watercolour - start with a very loose, very playful wet-on-wet wash, and then add just a handful of details to complete it. I find painting this way very freeing. I don't need to think about the composition in advance, I can simply start painting and enjoy the process of it. There are no expectations, but surprisingly, things fall into place in the end, and I end up with more "keepers" when I paint this way. Let's have some fun with watercolour!
