So her is our top 5 list of things to do in Kelleys Island. #5 Breweries and Wineries. There are great places to get a drink on the island, This trip we visit Kelley's Island Wine Co. There is so much more here then wine. There are farm animals, games, pizza ovens, a Mexican Cantina, and corn hole. It's a great place for famiilies. #4 Camping. This is the best camping in Ohio Kelley's Island State Campgrounds offer electric and non electric sites. They also have convenient and clean bathrooms and showers. The campgrounds offer wonder views of Lake Erie along with fishing, swimming, and trails to secret beeches. #3 Next on the list is Transportation. Now cars are aloud on the Island but golf cart and bikes are the preferred way to get around. Kelley's is only 4.5 miles and its easily bikeable. Also once you are here guest love to island hop, using private boat or the Jet Express. Even getting her is fun. We use the Island car Ferry. There are multiple times a day. You can even schedule your ferry ride during sunset. #2 2 on our list is the East Quarry. The abandoned lime stone quarry on the islands interior is filled with hiking and biking trails along with the filled quarry for swimming, fishing and our family's favorite...Cliff jumping. #1 Our top spot had to go with rock hunting. Sea Glass and Fossils to be exact. Lake Erie Funnels in a to of sea glass and also the limestone island use to be the floor of an ancient sea.
