To this end, they introduce the man in question to a girl from their group who has been specifically instructed by her friends to seduce him. The couple is then caught red-handed, and hence the blackmail. But the gang's plan is foiled by the girl who falls seriously in love with the man. Critics' Opinion: Silvio Amadio tries his hand at the summer comedy genre, popular at the time (we're in Castiglioncello here). Except for Gabriele Ferzetti, the cast is made up of young actors, mostly debuting, who nevertheless perform well and without hindrance; there are a few scenes that are a bit strong for the time (they're hilarious today). In this case, it's a shame about the black-and-white setting, because, being a summer film, it would have been more effective in color. MEMORABLE: Ferzetti asks a girl: "Would you like an ice cream?" and she replies: "Yes... Grandpa's cup... a Calvados!"
