In today’s film, following your requests from a few months ago, I’ll be talking about the Japanese soldiers who, after Japan’s surrender in September 1945, didn’t lay down their arms and continued to operate for almost 30 years in the jungles of the Philippines, Indonesia, and on many Pacific islands. Each of them wrote their own incredible survival story, which today can serve as a valuable survival guide for us. These are stories so extraordinary it’s hard to believe they truly happened—but they did. I titled this film "The Last Samurai: Incredible Stories of Survival 30 Years After the War."
