Financing Infrastructure: Monetary Architecture Approach
As part of the three-day high level community meeting, jointly hosted by the Presidential Climate Commission (PCC), Climate Compatible Growth (CCG), and African Energy Futures (AEF), Prof. Mark Swilling made a presentation arguing that South Africa has sufficient domestic financial resources to fund the construction of infrastructure; the real challenge is that there is an inadequate pipeline of projects into which investors can invest.
