The Cowsills - Where Is Love /Poor Baby (live May 14th,1970)(Stereo Mixed from Mono)
This has one of the most interesting story lines of all the videos I have edited in more than 45 years. The video starts out with Playboy bunny Nanci (Roberts) who,at the time of taping this show to when it aired was not yet married to Bob Cowsill but would be by the time it aired. Therefore, they made like they were already married as she introduces the Cowsill family to Hugh Hefner before getting up on stage to sing.Hugh asks Susan what she wants to be when she grows up,her response is priceless. So much so that her brother says that's not happening now & that's their cue to get on stage. Mom (Barbara) & Susan sing a selection from the 1968 movie 'Oliver' titled 'Where Is Love' with beautiful backup vocals from the family. Next, during the beginning of their next song, 'Poor Baby', Hugh & his girlfriend, actress Barbara Benton say their good nights & the song goes on.There was a sponsor voice over near the end of the song but I managed to edit that out & keep the music going without interruption. You'll see a few end credits but again I covered some of those too.
