Lumix 14-45mm Lens

The Lumix 14-45mm lens is an excellent lens, usually found in kits, to start taking photos without too many pretensions. Well, in the incipit I could have already said a lot about this lens. Yet I find that it is really excellent in quality. I took some photos on the fly just to try how it behaved and I am really satisfied with the results. The shots were all taken in RAW with my Lumix G85. I thought I would find some more defects, instead the images are clear and sharp. The details are there as well as the brightness, taking into account that it was a summer day. Why the Lumix 14-45mm lens As already said, it is an excellent zoom. So if we received it together with the mirrorless in a kit I would say that we can be happy. The excursion is wide and allows us to do vlogs as well as to photograph distant things. It is also bright enough to shoot and film outdoors or indoors with the right lights. Super plus the fact that it is a stabilized lens. Adding this to the in-camera stabilization the result will be excellent. It is small, light and all in all resistant even if a bit plasticky. It has the zoom ring and the small one for manual focus if we want to have some fun. Why not If we already own other zooms, like the legendary Lumix 14-140 this lens becomes practically useless. In fact this last zoom has an extremely wider excursion, at 45mm it is brighter and is really only a little bigger than this 14-45mm. With the same weight or almost. Final considerations I was sorry to sell it, but already having the 14-140 it made little sense to keep this zoom too. And then you only need one zoom, at most two if we really want to shoot distant things. Which rarely happens to me, I much prefer the super bright fixed focal length prime lenses.
