I said the cake takes an hour to bake, but it’s actually only about 30 mins. I think I got mixed up because the cooling time took forever lol... I'll leave the recipe below! 🕚 Timestamps 00:00 Intro 00:17 Choco Basque Cheesecake 03:20 Seaweed Soup (Miyeok-guk) 04:19 King Oyster Mushroom Steak 05:33 Glazed Baby Back Ribs 06:54 Shrimp & Mushroom Croquettes 09:37 Creamy Kimchi Fried Rice 13:00 Seongsu Vlog: Bomulsum 13:59 Seongsu Vlog: Miffy Shop Choco Basque Cheesecake🧀 Ingredients: Cream cheese, Eggs, Cocoa powder, Sugar, Heavy cream, Lemon juice, Vanilla extract 💡 Soften 450g of room-temp cream cheese in a bowl and mix well with 130g of sugar. 💡 Whisk 3 eggs (160g) and add them in 2-3 batches. Mix in 5g of vanilla extract or 1 vanilla bean. 💡 Combine 220g of heavy cream with 10g of cocoa powder, microwave for 20s, and stir it into the batter. 💡 Mix everything together and add 10g of lemon juice. 💡 Strain the batter through a sieve to get rid of any lumps. 💡 Pour into a lined pan, tap it on the counter to remove air bubbles, and smooth it out with a toothpick. 💡 Bake at 210°C (preheated at 230°C) for 20-30 mins and you’re done! (Adjust based on your oven) 💡 Let it cool at room temp and chill in the fridge to make it even tastier! Seaweed Soup🥣 Ingredients: Seaweed, Beef, Sesame oil, Cooking wine, Soy sauce, Fish sauce 💡 Soak the seaweed in water with a pinch of salt. 💡 Sauté the beef and soaked seaweed in a pot with a mix of sesame oil and cooking oil. 💡 Add 2tbsp each of cooking wine, soy sauce, and fish sauce. Sauté together, then add 700-900ml of water. 💡 (Add garlic if you like, I skipped it!) Bring it to a boil and you’re done! King Oyster Mushroom Steak🍄🟫 Ingredients: King oyster mushrooms, Garlic, Soy sauce, Oyster sauce, Cooking wine, Syrup, Butter, Scallions 💡 Slice the mushrooms thick and score them in a crosshatch pattern. 💡 Sear them in a pan with butter until golden. 💡 Add 1tbsp each of garlic, soy sauce, oyster sauce, cooking wine, and syrup. Let the glaze soak in and you’re done! (Top with scallions if you like) Glazed Baby Back Ribs🍖 Ingredients: Baby back ribs, Onion, Green onion, Black peppercorns, Soy sauce, Cooking wine, Oyster sauce, Sugar, Garlic 💡 Boil the ribs with onion, green onion, and peppercorns for 10 mins. 💡 Rinse the boiled ribs in cold water and pat them dry. 💡 In a pan, boil 8tbsp soy sauce, 3tbsp cooking wine, 3tbsp oyster sauce, 3tbsp sugar, 1tbsp garlic, and a cup of water. Add the ribs. 💡 Flip them every 10 mins until they’re perfectly glazed and you’re done! Shrimp & Mushroom Croquettes🍤 Ingredients: Shrimp, Mushrooms, Eggs, Salt, Pepper, Flour, Panko breadcrumbs 💡 Finely mince the shrimp and mushrooms in a chopper. 💡 In a large bowl, mix the minced ingredients with salt, pepper, starch, and 2 eggs. 💡 Coat the mixture in flour, then egg wash, then panko breadcrumbs. 💡 Deep fry in plenty of oil until they turn golden brown and you’re done! Creamy Kimchi Fried Rice🍦 Ingredients: Kimchi, Heavy cream, Sausage, Rice, Cheese, Soy sauce, Sugar, Vinegar, Chili powder 💡 Chop the kimchi and mix with 1tbsp soy sauce, 1tbsp chili powder, 2tbsp sugar, and 2tbsp vinegar. (Adjust sugar/vinegar based on how sour the kimchi is) 💡 Sauté the seasoned kimchi first, then add bacon or sausage. 💡 Add the rice and fry it up, then plate it with a hole in the middle. 💡 Microwave heavy cream and shredded cheese for about 1 min. 💡 Pour the cream into the center and you’re done!
