Stanley Cup Game 5 with Davis! 🏒 What started as a normal day quickly turned into one of our most memorable adventures yet when I surprised Davis with tickets to Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final. The atmosphere inside the arena was absolutely electric as the Carolina Hurricanes took on the Vegas Golden Knights in a pivotal Game 5 with the series tied at two games apiece. Before the puck even dropped, the excitement was already building as former Hurricane Mike Commodore fired up the crowd by ringing the siren to start the game. One of the biggest surprises of the night for Davis was seeing soccer superstar Erling Haaland in attendance. As a huge sports fan, he couldn't believe he was watching a Stanley Cup Final game in the same arena as one of the biggest athletes in the world. Once the game started, the action didn't disappoint. Davis proudly wore his Andrei Svechnikov jersey, and Svech delivered in a big way with two goals to help power the Hurricanes to a huge 4-2 victory. Captain Jordan Staal continued his hot streak with another goal, while Sebastian Aho also found the back of the net. The crowd was loud from puck drop to the final horn, and with the win, the Hurricanes grabbed a 3-2 series lead and moved to within one win of bringing the Stanley Cup to Carolina. For Davis and me, this wasn't just a hockey game - it was an unforgettable father-son adventure. Between the surprise tickets, the Stanley Cup atmosphere, seeing Erling Haaland in attendance, hearing Mike Commodore start the game, and watching the Hurricanes move one step closer to a championship, it was a night we'll never forget.
