El helicóptero ruso Ansat en pruebas de vuelo en Toluca

In this video, you can see the visit of the Russian-made Ansat helicopter to Toluca International Airport last Friday, September 25th, where we had the opportunity to learn more about it. The Ansat light multipurpose helicopter uses a conventional single-propeller tail rotor system. The helicopter is designed according to the FAR-29 (AP-29) standards, category A, and has a high level of structural safety. There are installation variants of the state-of-the-art fly-by-wire system (KSU-A) or the conventional hydraulic system (GMSU). Ansat with a GMSU holds the type certificate from the Aeronautical Register of the Interstate Aviation Committee (AR MAK). This helicopter is a balanced combination of tradition and innovative technical solutions. Ansat is powered by two 630 hp PW 207K turboshaft engines from Pratt & Whitney Canada, equipped with a digital engine control system (FADEC), which ensures continuous flight in the event of engine failure. With the detachable equipment installed, the Ansat multipurpose helicopter can be quickly re-equipped to perform a wide variety of tasks.
