Cobra vs Puff Adder – Rare Snake Fight Caught on Camera

In this episode of Snakes in the Hoed, we respond to a call from a nearby safari lodge after a snake was spotted on the property. When we arrive, we quickly realise this is not an ordinary snake rescue. Right in front of us, a Snouted Cobra is fighting and eating a Puff Adder, something very few people ever get to witness in the wild. While Snouted Cobras are known to occasionally prey on other snakes, seeing one take on a Puff Adder, one of Africa’s most dangerous snakes, is extremely rare. Even more incredible: we managed to capture the entire moment on camera.
