USS Tripoli (LHA-7) Departs for the Middle East | Operation Epic Fury

The USS Tripoli (LHA-7) is an America-class amphibious assault ship, currently serving as a primary aviation-centric powerhouse for the U.S. Navy. As of late March 2026, the ship has taken a central role in global operations, specifically within the Middle East. Location: The USS Tripoli arrived in the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) area of responsibility on March 27, 2026. Mission: It is currently serving as the flagship for the Tripoli Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) in support of Operation Epic Fury.
