Inside a Chinese Market Tourists Never Visit 🇨🇳

I started this video at 7am, the earliest I’ve ever begun filming a YouTube video and for good reason. I wanted to experience a real local morning market in Hangzhou, long before tourists wake up. This is a proper street food hunt, deep in local life. Hardly any English spoken, barely any tourists (I only saw one the entire time), and a real test of my very basic Chinese. The market was absolutely buzzing with locals going about their morning routines, buying breakfast, ingredients, and everything in between. Food wise, this was unreal. I kicked things off with a fluffy scallion bread, then moved on to duck, crispy little croquettes, a rice drink, a sweet local dessert, and even a century egg. I wrapped things up with some seriously good pan fried dumplings, honestly some of the best food I’ve had in China so far. Everything I tried was incredibly tasty. This video is all about seeing what life really looks like early in the morning in China. Fresh meat, fruit, vegetables, hot food stalls everywhere, and a market that felt 100 percent authentic. No performances, no tourist prices, just locals and great food.
