🎤 Exclusive Interview with K-Denk on Creative Arts TV In a special session, our very own Michael Brown / MichaelTheJournalist sat down with one of the biggest superstars from South Sudan, K-Denk, who has been living in Canada for the past 7 years. During the interview, K-Denk encouraged young people in Kakuma to remain positive despite the challenges they face in their daily lives. He reminded everyone that Kakuma will always remain his home, even though he is now based in Canada. “I will continue to be a refugee until South Sudan becomes free,” he shared with deep emotion. K-Denk also reflected on his journey, recalling how Kakuma shaped him as an artist: “It is here in Kakuma where I discovered my talent. Life wasn’t easy—getting shoes was even a problem. In 2004, I won a talent competition, and today, I thank God that I can get what I need.” He further noted that his last visit to Kakuma was in 2018 and that Kakuma was among the key stops in his Voice Tour following his performance in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
